John Spillar

John Spillar has been with Capella for over a year and largely focused on Investment Sales, Leasing, and Development.  John has been a CRE investor since 2012 with properties totaling a worth of over 10 million in his portfolio.  He owned and operated several different NNN asset classes with a specialization in retail and self-storage properties.  He works closely with clients to find and manage their NNN properties and uses his personal experience to find the best possible properties in the market.  He knows and understands the central Texas market well and also has investment properties in Dallas, Houston, and College Station. John has the experience and knowledge that would benefit any potential buyer, seller, or landlord.

Before joining Capella, John spent 15 years of his career in the medical device world leading teams and managing global businesses.  He spent the last 8 years of his career as an executive for a 6-Billion-Dollar global company with offices in 53 different counties.  In his most recent position as Chief Commercial Officer, he led global sales and clinical service teams.  In addition, John has worked on mergers and acquisitions of $50 Million+ businesses to expand product portfolios within the company.  This extensive and diverse experience helps him to have a global mindset to understand the best strategies to grow and build companies, but also where best to invest in the market to maximize returns.

John is excited to be a part of the Capella family and supporting all his clients in Investment Sales, Leasing, and Development.  Together, John and Capella plan to continue to grow and expand services to make a big impact on all their clients’ future endeavors.
