After graduation Neil worked for Airborne Express as a Sales Account Executive and was promoted to District Sales Manager in 1994. Neil left Airborne Express in 1996 and opened his first restaurant “The Fresh Planet Cafe” in downtown Austin. Over the next 4 years, Neil opened and operated 3 other nightclubs/bars in downtown Austin.
After selling his interest in his bars and restaurants in 2001, Neil joined McAllister & Associates as a real estate agent specializing in commercial, retail and land, sales and acquisitions. His responsibilities include all aspects of site selection, acquisition (including analysis), development, property management and financing for his clients/partners. Neil was recognized as top producer during his employment with McAllister & Associates where his commercial real estate sales totaled $50 + million.
Neil has recently completed a high end development located in Barton Hills. The $2.2 million multi-family project consisted of four tri-level units overlooking the hill country in central Austin and ranged from 3,000 to 3,500 square feet each.
Neil is the co-managing partner for an 18 acre land development project located on the NE corner of FM 1431 and Parmer Lane in Cedar Park, Texas.
In addition, Neil is a principal partner in Doc’s Motorworks Bar and Grill and Doc’s Backyard Bar & Grill.
Neil resides in Southwest Austin where he enjoys time on the golf course and with his wife Stacey and daughter Chloe.
