Capella Commercial (“Capella”) is an Austin Texas based commercial real estate and development firm specializing in the opportunistic development and acquisition of commercial properties, including: office; retail; class A self-storage; office warehouse and multi-family.

The principals of the firm, are supported and complemented by a talented group of professionals; the team collectively has over 75 years of commercial real estate experience.

The firm’s objective for each of its developments is two fold: (i) creating a valued addition to the local community in which it resides; and (ii) providing attractive risk adjusted financial returns to investors in both the short and long term.   

Capella Capital Partner’s direct affiliates also provide the following services: construction management; brokerage and investment sales; leasing; and property management.  The office is located at The Overlook at Rob Roy at 6836 Bee Cave Road, Suite 330 in Austin, Texas.

Capella Capital Partners is an opportunistic Austin, Texas real estate investment and development  firm, focusing upon ground up development and value-added acquisitions. The firm was founded in 2012, by principals with over 50 years of combined experience in commercial real estate. Capella’s development and acquisition portfolio (past and present) includes self storage, office, retail, multi-family and horizontal land development. Capella has a successful track record of taking projects through the entirety of the development process: site identification and acquisition; design, entitlement and permitting; construction; lease up; and property disposition. To date, the firm’s current strategic focus has been self storage, but as the firm has grown so has the scope of its development capabilities. The firm is also currently working on multiple, significant mixed-use developments.


Capella’s development and acquisition efforts targets areas with high barriers to entry that are characterized by strong demographics: significant population density; and/or explosive population growth; and high income levels. Specific site selection focuses upon: competitive dynamics in the trade area (supply/demand imbalance, occupancy, rents, and the quality of existing supply); excellent visibility; strong traffic counts; accessibility; and conservative underwriting. Capella works closely with local municipalities, and partners only with top flight engineers, architects, consultants, vendors, property managers, and JV partners to develop state-of-the-art, institutional caliber, Class A facilities.
